This website is provided by Ian Price (sole trader) trading as “Alongside”, pending incorporation of Alongside Ltd. On incorporation, Alongside Ltd takes over (with notice where required), and matters arising beforehand remain with Ian Price (sole trader). Contact: hello@alongsidehello.com.

This website tells you about Alongside and lets you join a waitlist so we can email you when Alongside launches in your area. That’s all it does. Joining the waitlist does not create an account, is not a contract for any service, and does not guarantee that Alongside will launch in your area or by any particular date.

Alongside introduces older people to a friendly local nearby for companionship: a walk, a coffee, a conversation. It is not a care service, a dating service, or an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.

When you join the waitlist, you agree:

• to give us a valid email address that is yours (or one you have permission to use);
• that we may email you about Alongside as described in our Privacy Notice; and
• that you can unsubscribe at any time: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also email us.

How we handle the details you give us is set out in full in our Privacy Notice.

Please use this website lawfully and fairly. In particular, don’t:

• submit someone else’s email address without their permission;
• try to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems; or
• submit automated or bulk signups, or use the site for anything illegal.

The Alongside name, logo, wording, and design on this website are ours. You may view and share the pages, but please don’t copy or reuse our branding or content for your own purposes without permission.

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and the information on it may change as Alongside develops. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for loss arising from your use of the website.

Nothing in these terms removes your legal rights. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here strips your statutory consumer or data-protection rights.
