You can help them get started

A family member or a friend can help start the set-up.

They say yes themselves

The person then signs in with a code sent to their own email address, and says yes themselves.

Nothing happens on the account until they say yes. If they say no, nothing goes ahead. If they are not able to make this choice themselves, we do not set up an account.

You each do your own ID check

The person does their own photo ID and selfie check. So do you.

Every member confirms who they are with a photo ID and a matching selfie before they can meet anyone. It is an identity check, not a background check.

It is always their own account

You each have your own sign-in. You are there to help, never to take over.

You must never sign in as them or say yes for them. Your own sign-in cannot read their messages.

What you can see

You can see how their set-up and ID check are going, and how each introduction is going, with first names only.

You can see meetup plans: the kind of place, the town and the time. You can see how a check-in after a meetup went.

You never see their messages.

How involved you are

Every helper starts at the same standard level, set by the app.

At that level, a new connection waits for your yes as well, and so does a first meetup. Your yes is asked for only after both people have said yes to each other.

You can ask to change how involved you are. The person must agree before anything changes.

A trusted contact, if they want one

The person can add a trusted contact. It is their choice.

That contact hears from us only if a check-in after a meetup flags a concern. We send them nothing else.

What it costs

Free while we launch in Guernsey. If that changes, we’ll tell you first, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
